Heliotrope

Heliotrope is a San Francisco Bay Area ensemble that performs a unique variety of medieval and original music in the tradition of the troubadours. The group's repertoire includes medieval songs and dances and medieval-inspired original compositions including settings of poems by Bogan, cummings, Roethke and Anonymous.

Heliotrope consists of:

Joyce Todd - voice, harp & percussion
Tom Chandler - oud & guitar
Barry Hall - vielle, violin & percussion
Shira Kammen - vielle & harp

Plus also sometimes:
Ethan James - hurdy-gurdy
